With Mass with the people being canceled, Confessions have not. If you have not had a chance to go lately, I strongly encourage you to go. Lent is a time of penance and going to Confession but this year we are faced with a greater Lent, making sacrifices of things we may not have much control over. How have we reacted to this Lent? Have we been the most charitable to our neighbors or completely placing our trust in the Lord? Maybe we are stressed out, worried, or frustrated.
Come to Confession, receiving our Lord’s forgiveness, mercy, strength and love. Allow Him to take this weight off your shoulders. Place your trust in Him in this sacrament.
I am going to hear Confessions at the time I would offer the Sunday Liturgy at your parish. Due to the distance rule, I will hear confessions in the sacristy by the altar at a distance of over 6ft. If a line forms please keep your distance.
